Belmar Aviation Services offers hot-air ballooning in India. A hot air balloon consists of a bag called the envelope that is capable of containing heated air. Suspended beneath is a gondola or wicker basket, which carries passengers and a source of heat, in most cases an open flame. Hot Air Balloon is the oldest successful human-carrying flight technology and today it is being pursued as a popular adventure sports.

Flight Details
Balloon Capacity -Balloon can accommodate 4 passengers at one time. Minimum flight time is 8-10 mins and may extend to one hour.
In the summer the early morning flights starts with sunrise as early as 5 am. However according to experience one can tell that most enjoyable flights are during the start of the day. Due to air stability flight takes place just after sunrise and before sunset.
Flight Timing -Usually flight timing is 6AM for morning flights and 6pm for evening flights or depends on sunrise and sunset.
Flight Height – The balloon operates at 150ft+ on local Aviation guidelines.
Dos and Donts
One can carry their UV filter lenses camera for the best photographic experience.
Clothes – Sensible outdoor clothes should be worn as one wears during a walk in the country. One should avoid skirts, shorts, synthetic fibers such as nylon and loose jewelry. Ideal footwear includes flat shoes, walking boots. Temperatures in the air are warmer than those on the ground due to the heat of the burners so do take a hat to avoid the heat from the burners, particularly on evening flights.
Age limit – There is no such upper age limit but people should be fit enough to climb in and out of the basket and to stand for about an hour.
Maximum Weight – 100kgs per person
Minimum Height – 1.4 meters (3’8″)
Minimum Age – 1+ . Children below 16 years should be accompanied by an adult.

The balloons are sourced from the best manufactures in the world and all operations are supported by skilled technical crew as per global Aviation standards. These comply with internationally accepted norms, passengers and equipment, fitness of equipment. During the flight radios are used to stay in contact with the retrieval crew.
